How GMC Marketplace Protects Buyers and Sellers
GMC Marketplace is designed to create a safer environment for buying and selling digital commerce assets.
We implement identity verification and transaction safeguards to reduce fraud and improve trust across the marketplace.
Identity Verification & Trust Tiers
GMC Marketplace uses a 3-tier trust system based on identity verification and deal history. Users who have not completed verification are publicly labelled as "Unverified" on all listings and interactions.
Verified (1/3): Identity confirmed via government ID, business registration, or store admin screenshot. Trusted (2/3): Identity verified plus at least 1 completed deal on GMC Marketplace. Elite (3/3): Identity verified plus 3 or more completed deals — the highest trust level.
Verification takes just 2 minutes via your Profile page. We strongly recommend all users verify their identity — unverified buyers and sellers are at a significant disadvantage on the platform.
Verified Listing Data
Store listings may include verified data such as domain age, product counts, and marketplace intelligence insights powered by GMC Scout.
Every listing is manually reviewed by our admin team before going live. Combined with seller trust tier badges, this gives buyers multiple layers of confidence.
Secure Transaction Process
GMC Marketplace facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers and temporarily holds settlement funds pending confirmation of asset transfers.
Funds are only released after the buyer confirms the transfer process has been completed. Every transaction is personally guided by our admin team.
