Buying a Store

How do I buy a store on GMC Marketplace?
Browse available listings, click "Buy This Store" on a listing you're interested in, and submit a buy request. Our admin team will review your request, connect you with the seller, and guide you through every step of the transaction.
Do I need to verify my identity before buying?
Yes. To protect both buyers and sellers, we require a one-time identity verification before you can submit a buy request. You can verify via your Profile page using a government-issued ID, business registration document, or store admin screenshot.
What does "reinstated GMC" mean?
A reinstated Google Merchant Center (GMC) account is one that was previously suspended and has been successfully re-approved by Google. This means the account is active and ready to run Google Shopping ads immediately after transfer.
Can I make an offer below the asking price?
Some listings display "MAKE OFFER" instead of a fixed price. For fixed-price listings, you can ask a question to discuss pricing with the admin team who will liaise with the seller on your behalf.
How long does a transfer take?
Most transfers complete within 3–7 business days. This includes payment confirmation, asset transfer (store, domain, GMC access), buyer verification, and seller payout.
Is my payment protected?
Yes. Funds are secured by GMC Marketplace before any assets are transferred. The seller only receives payment after the buyer confirms that all assets have been successfully transferred.

Selling a Store

How do I list my store for sale?
Click "Sell Your Store" in the navigation, fill out the listing form with your store details, and submit it for review. Our admin team will verify the information and approve your listing.
Is there a fee to list my store?
No. Listing your store is completely free. There are no listing fees, no monthly fees, and no hidden charges.
What are the commission fees?
Commission is only charged on completed sales. The fee is $/€500 minimum or 15% of the sale price — whichever is higher. This is paid by the seller only and is deducted from the funds you receive. Buyers pay nothing.
What information do I need to provide?
You'll need your store niche, GMC business country, selling feed countries, GMC age, Google Ads metrics (spend, ROAS, revenue), asking price, and platform (Shopify or WooCommerce). All information must be accurate and verifiable.
Can I update my listing after it's live?
Yes. You can request price reductions, update your public information, or boost your listing for extra visibility — all from your Dashboard. Changes are reviewed by admin before going live.
What is a "Boosted" listing?
Boosted listings get premium placement at the top of the marketplace table and appear highlighted with an amber background across the platform. Boosting increases your listing's visibility to potential buyers.

Transactions & Security

How does the transaction process work?
The process has 4 steps: (1) Buyer secures the deal by submitting payment, (2) Seller transfers the store and assets, (3) Buyer confirms the transfer, (4) Seller gets paid. Funds are held securely throughout.
Who facilitates the transaction?
GMC Marketplace (operated by Tagan Labs LLC) facilitates all transactions. Our admin team manages communication between buyer and seller, coordinates asset transfers, and handles payment settlement.
What if there's a dispute?
All communication goes through our platform chat, so there's a full record of everything. Our admin team can assist with dispute resolution. Funds may be held while a dispute is reviewed.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. All data is encrypted and stored securely. Identity verification documents are reviewed by admin only and deleted after review. We never share your personal information with other users without your consent.

Account & Platform

How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation. You'll need an email address and password. After registering, verify your email to activate your account.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page, enter your email, and we'll send you a reset link. Click the link in your email to set a new password.
What is the referral programme?
Earn $100 for every successful deal made by someone you refer. Share your unique referral link, and when a referred user completes a purchase or sale, you get paid. There are no limits — unlimited earnings, lifetime referrals.
What is the Watchlist?
You can add any listing to your Watchlist by clicking the heart icon. This lets you easily track listings you're interested in from your Dashboard.
